Motivation and Commitment

  • Motivation & Energy

  • We are all motivated to achieve a higher grade on the assignment therefore, we will work together to produce our best work as a team.

  • Creating a positive and supportive team environment is crucial for maintaining high levels of positive energy. This can be achieved by encouraging open communication, and collaboration, and celebrating small victories. These actions not only boost morale but also foster a sense of camaraderie among team members. The contagious nature of this positive energy helps to keep everyone motivated, energized, and engaged throughout the project.

  • Commitment & Accountability

  • As we learned in class, we believe in the combination of internal motivation and external motivation. External motivation is to finish the assignment on time and get good grades. We also have internal motivation, which is to study and grow as a group. At the end of the assignment, we will definitely learn a lot about the topic and learn a lot from each other. To avoid free-riding, we will have equal responsibility (20% each). When a team member cannot handle work on time due to legitimate reasons (i.e. sickness/family emergency), her work will be shared equally by the rest of the team.

  • We will discuss our roles to ensure that each of us has equal work.

  • We will listen to all team members and adjust if personal issues arise.

  • We will set guidelines for when each part of the assignment should be completed and make sure we stay on track with the schedule to move through the stages of team development.
